Superconductivity was discovered in 1911. After a century this technology has yet to become accessible to mainstream commercial products. Many of the challenges for this, such as creating a cost effective and reliable cryogenic environment, have been addressed. We believe the final obstacle to producing commercially viable superconductor embedded products is a means of winding delicate superconducting media with precision and reliability. Currently the only solution in its class, we have developed the world’s first platform that introduces automation and technical reliability to address the needs of the wire and tape superconductor industry. We have packaged our technology in a system that is easily configurable to diverse and changing winding processes.
